One of the ongoing projects in my illustration course is a range of 12 notebooks, all different sizes & themes. It’s passed around the class (there’s a list with our names in a random order on the inside cover) & you have to do a page based on the theme, and pass it onto the next person.
It’s one of my favourite projects =)
Because there are so many people in our class, I’ve only got one notebook so far, it was called “Precious Things.” The notebook is teeny-tiny so not a lot of space to work with. The entry before mine was pretty lame (a badly drawn turtle with the text “WHY DON’T YOU LOVE ME?” - Tim the Neglected Turtle. LAME!)
So I had a think about it and did a quick little sketch of precious things from my favourite movie, Disney Pixar’s ‘UP’
Looking forward to the next notebook! Think the one I’m due to get this week is called “Strange Stains,” you have to make a composition out of a strange stain someone leaves on the page for you :/ ………should be interesting!
